Introducing Bussmann’s new battery storage fuses, ideal for electric vehicles

Bussmann's Battery Storage Fuse Links by GD Rectifiers

Eaton’s Bussmann series have recently launched battery storage fuse links, designed specifically to protect and isolate battery array combiners and disconnects. They are capable of interrupting low overcurrent associated with faulty battery storage systems.

 

Features and Benefits

  • Designed in accordance with the proposed IEC 60269-7 standard, ensuring your system will be sufficiently protected from possible fault conditions and give the longest possible service life
  • Low power loss ensures your application runs optimally and supports the system to maximise the efficiency of the battery storage system
  • Bolted and bladed mounting options are available to suit new, replacement or upgrade battery storage systems
  • Full range of fuse bases and accessories are available to make easy installation a reality

 

Specifications

  • Fuse body types: XL and NH
  • Rated voltage: NH fuses (1000Vdc), XL fuses (1500Vdc)
  • Breaking capacity: 100kA
  • Time constant: 4.5ms at 100kA
  • RoHS and Reach complaint
  • Operating class: gBat proposed for full range fuses for protection of battery storage systems
  • IEC 60269-7 for battery storage fuses is under preparation (expected in 2021)
