Most of the components we keep in stock are RoHS compliant and can be traced back to their original manufacture date and supplier code allowing us to have complete confidence in our supply chain. We also list all product certifications and approvals on our website making it easier for customers to choose the right component.

Our Stores team are responsible for overseeing the stock holding of our call-off and scheduled orders and facilitate our stock holding for all electronic components, heatsinks and power assemblies. We stock over 170,000 components on our shelves in our onsite warehouse, all ready to be shipped or allocated to our power assembly builds. Providing an all-encompassing product range on this scale minimises any chance of component shortfalls or shortages and allows us to offer a fast delivery service to our customers.

How we’ll work with you
1. Review component requirements
Firstly, we’ll understand your annual component usage or usage for a particular project and ascertain what your on-going requirements will be. Forecasts help streamline the sourcing process and enables both the customer and distributor to plan ahead, secure the best possible pricing from the factory and eliminate long lead times or component shortfalls, minimising supply chain disruption.
2. Discuss accepting alternative parts
Customers can bypass long lead times by accepting higher rated devices that are electrically and mechanically interchangeable in lieu of the parts required. We partner with customers to explore offer alternative parts from stock or sourcing an alternative part on a shorter lead time either from the same OEM or another manufacturer.
3. Explore call-off and scheduled orders
GD Rectifiers offers several flexible purchasing solutions, a scheduled order offers customers competitive, fixed pricing for up to 12 months. We work together to produce an annual delivery schedule that works for you. We understand that project launches get pushed backwards and forwards, so let us know if you need to request a change to the schedule.
Our call-off orders provide maximum flexibility for when customers need it most, we’ll stock the components in our warehouse over an agreed timeframe until you need them. Call-off orders are a popular choice with our customers, they help alleviate component supply issues and ensures your project stays on track.
4. Leverage existing orders and requirements
Our dedicated sales team provide pioneering customer service and expert technical support, they work with customers to place repeat orders, source and receive non-stocked items on short lead times and design customised products suited to your applications.
5. Discuss smart ordering
Our sales team notify customers when call-off or scheduled orders are running low, giving them the opportunity to reorder, to help minimise unnecessary delays. We also welcome the opportunity to put in place smart ordering for customers, for frequently required parts simply tell us when you would like to put in a reorder, and we’ll process the request for you. We’ll contact you when inventory is running low and contact you nearer the time for a PO number, making the ordering process as easy and stress-free as possible.
