Am I eligible to become an agent?

You will need to be a reputable distributor of semiconductor components, heatsinks or power assemblies and have a good understanding of the electronics industry.  Whether you’re an established company or a reputable freelance agent working for various brands, we want to hear from you!

What do I get?

Once you’ve been approved as an agent you’ll receive GD Rectifiers’ marketing collateral so you can get started straight away. You’ll also have access to our sales team for technical support and advice, invites to quarterly meetings and online training.

What do I need to do next?

Send an email to our marketing department with your company name, company registration number, a link to your website, the products you’re interested in stocking and the regions that you operate in.

If you’re a freelance agent, send us your full name, provide us with a list of companies you’re freelanced for and tell us about your areas of expertise.

What does the process entail?

Once you’ve sent an email to our marketing department, our team will be in touch within 5 working days to discuss the opportunity further.

Once your product and stock requirements have been finalised, an agreement will be put in place for both parties to review. We work with each agent on a one-to-one basis, catering our relationship to your needs.

 

Before launch we will provide product training on your stock package and send over marketing collateral for you to use to promote our products.

How long does the process take?

Becoming an agent can take a few weeks to get an account set up and sometimes a few months to get stock in place, depending on lead times. This process can be finalised much faster if we receive the information we need as quickly as possible.

When can I start selling GD Rectifiers products?

Once we have everything we need from you, we’ll let you know when you can start selling.

The lead times for these products change daily which is why we ask customers to call us for an accurate lead time.

Do you have datasheets online?

We’ve been working with engineers, buyers and procurement specialists for over 50 years, our job is to make sourcing electronic components easier, that’s why we feature datasheets for every single product we stock online. We put all the information you need in one place so it’s easier for you to identify what you need. Browse individual product pages to view product datasheets. Can’t find a datasheet on the product page? This is most likely because the datasheet for that particular part is no longer available. How does the pricing work?

We review our product pricing monthly to ensure we continue to offer our customers the best possible pricing on our wide range of products. However, all of the quotes we offer via phone and email are valid for 30 days, protecting you against any possible price increases.

How can I shop from GD Rectifiers?

Customers can place orders with us by email or phone. Unfortunately, customers cannot buy our products online at present.

How will my goods be packaged?

We’ll choose the product packaging best suited to your components. Want it packed your way? We’ll do that too just let us know your preference.

When will my goods be dispatched?

We dispatch in-stock components within one working day. Customised devices can take up to 6 weeks or sometimes longer, depending on our material availability and production schedules. We will provide a delivery date to customers at the point of order. We encourage our customers to enable us to quote and order their requirements as far in advance as possible to avoid any delays with materials, long factory lead times or factory closures which can occur throughout the year.

Do you offer volume pricing?

Yes, we specialise in volume pricing and can also provide you with comparative costs on electrically and mechanically interchangeable parts.  Please call our sales team today on 01444 243 452 for a quote.

How do I change my delivery or invoice address?

What are my delivery options?

We offer next day delivery on all orders placed before 2pm which starts at £12.50 for up to 20kg. We also offer weekend delivery and same day delivery for customers that require products more urgently, please contact us directly for pricing and availability on 01444 243 452.

 

The following DPD services are available on orders up to 20kg only.

DPD next day £12.50

DPD next day before 12pm £17.00

DPD next day before 10.30am £32.50

DPD Saturday before 12pm £37.50

What payment methods do you accept?
