Bussmann Square Body Fuses

Bussmann’s range of Square Body Fuses feature a unique design allowing minimal energy let-through, low operating temperature and low watts loss.

Square body fuses are a reliable solution for high power applications which require a compact design with superior performance. Bussmann also offer custom designed square body fuses, their catalogue of products provides just a sample of the variety of fuses available. 

Bussmann Square Body Fuses by GD Rectifiers

Each square body fuse is available with a number of different end fittings, including: DIN 43 653, DIN 43 620, Flush End (Metric/US), French Style and US Style.

All Bussmann square body fuses are tested to IEC 60269: Part 4, which requires a test voltage 5% higher than the rated voltage.

Bussmann’s square body fuses are available with three different open fuse indicator systems options include; a visual indication and indication utilising a microswitch. Fuse blocks are also available for most applications.

Indicator Systems

Bussmann Indicator System 

Bussmann’s Typower ZILOX fuses are available with three different indicator systems. 

 

Visual Indicator

The indicator is situated in one cover plate and is clearly visible when the fuse has operated. The minimum voltage for operating the indictor is 20V.

 

Type T Indicator

The indicator is situated on one cover plate tag to accommodate an auxiliary switch. The minimum voltage for operating the indicator is 20V. Bussmann provides a special low voltage indicator is available on request.

 

Type K Indicator

This indicator is situated on the fuse body and is covered by an adapter for snap-on mounting of an auxiliary switch. The operating voltage of the indicator is 1.5V and the factory mounted adapted must not be removed from the fuse.
