High Voltage Rectifiers
At GD Rectifiers, we have reverse engineered a range of popular high voltage rectifiers and encapsulated rectifiers for use in applications such as high voltage power supplies, radio and TV transmitters, radar sets, RH heating and electrostatic precipitators.
We offer a popular range of parts previously made by IXYS, Marconi and Semikron. They are all high voltage and low current, avalanche rated and are suitable to absorb limited reverse voltage transients. Our comprehensive range of high voltage rectifier units have been designed to handle mains frequency.

Modular High Voltage Diodes – J Modules
These are to cover the IXYS UGE range. They are easily bolted together using a Mxx thread and can be used to make a variety of circuits in a small space.
Please see the below cross-reference from UGE parts to J-Module parts. These devices operate best when mounted horizontal in airflow or better still, immersed in oil.

High Voltage Rectifier Modules – HTZ range
Our HTZ range directly replaces the Marconi and IXYS HTZ range. They are fitted the same and can attach together using a busbar to make single/three phase, half and full wave rectifiers.
These devices operate best when mounted horizontal in airflow or immersed in oil.

High Voltage Rectifier Modules – HSKE Range (<50kV)
These diodes have an M5 screw for mounting at either end and can be easily replaced when required. Their typical applications are high voltage power supplies, measuring equipment and lasers.
The HSKE range is suitable for air or oil cooling.
