KONČAR celebrates 97^th anniversary and announces this year’s donation

This year KONČAR celebrates their 97^th anniversary since the company was founded. Since it’s inception in 1921, KONČAR has been a firm believer in their motto, “an investment in people is the best investment.”

KONČAR Celebrates 97th Anniversary

As part of their anniversary, known as the KONČAR day, the company presents a KONČAR award to the most successful students of Electrical Engineering, Computing, Information Technologies and Mechatronics during the previous academic year at local universities.

As part of the KONČAR Day, a donation is also made to an educational, cultural, scientific or social cause. This year KONČAR made a donation to Matrix Croatica to support and enable the publishing of seven volumes of the History of Croats. This project is based on the latest cognitive, conceptual and methodological achievements of the Croatian historiography and is conducted at the same level as similar historiography projects of other European nations.

Matrix Croatica is one of the oldest Croatian cultural institutions and among the largest and most important book and magazine publishers in Croatia.
