Sirio Elettronica Srl was founded in 1974 in Italy, with the purpose of developing and producing high-quality electromagnetic components for industrial applications, with a strong focus on the power conversion and high frequency markets.
Today the company has three offices, two in Italy and one in India. The main office/factory in Italy is responsible for administration, R&D, sales and production of pulse and switching transformers. The secondary office which opened in 2008 is responsible for production of hf power transformers. In 2010 Sirio opened a third production centre for current transducers, based in India.
Today, the company produces more than 2.5 million components every year with over 60% of products sold in Europe and international markets.

Sirio has played a part in the technological revolution on active components, with power conversion products slowly changing from industrial frequencies of 50Hz to the actual frequencies of hundreds of kHz.
