Rectifiers

A rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating current from AC to DC. This process is called rectification as it straightens the direction of the current. Many devices are known as rectifiers today, including semiconductor diodes, silicon-controlled rectifiers and other silicon-based semiconductors switches.

Rectifiers are typically used in power supplies of almost all electronic equipment and it usually placed in series following the transformer, a smoothing filter and possibly a voltage regulator.

At GD Rectifiers, we offer fully controlled, half controlled and uncontrolled rectifiers in single phase, three phase and hex-phase configurations, designed and manufactured exclusively by GD Rectifiers.
