Closed Loop Water Coolers/Air Blast Coolers

ATC’s air blast coolers use ambient air to maintain the temperature of process fluids, without the use of a refrigeration system. This is achieved by forcing air over the process fluids to remove unwanted heat and ejecting it into the environment. Designed to control the temperature of water, glycols, and oils, to support a range of applications.

Applied Thermal Control’s range of air blast coolers, also known as closed loop water cooling systems, offer a compact and transportable cooling solution for production equipment and instruments. Applied Thermal Control’s offer a large range of air blast coolers from 0-10kW and 20-80kW. Applied Thermal Control’s range of A-series coolers are simple and easy to operate and maintain and feature a robust steel enclosure.

Air blast coolers are one of the most effective forms of water cooling and are ideal for when application temperature needs to be controlled at a higher temperature than ambient. Air blast coolers can be used to control the temperature of water, glycols and oils and Applied Thermal Control’s customised options can help support most applications.

Air blast coolers and closed loop water coolers are often used in resistance welding, air compressors, x-ray devices and furnace equipment.
