The IXBOD01-06 series offers transient voltage protection for thyristors and diodes,
features low leakage current and very low forward voltage drop.

The IXBOD01-06 is a Break Over Diode (“BOD”) device, a gate-less two terminal high power semiconductor switch in which transitions from a blocking state to a conducting state are triggered by a dV/dt pulse to the anode.
