High voltage flexible copper busbar insulators made from fiberglass-reinforced polyester
GD Rectifiers offer a complete range of high voltage flexible copper and laminated busbar insulators made from fiberglass-reinforced polyester, a bonded material with higher moisture and heat tolerance than plastic insulators and molded for high strength. Hexagonal DMC insulators are encapsulated with M6, M8 or M10 inserts with optional male studs also available.
They are shatter-resistant, have a working temperature of 160°C, with high arc resistance and reduced flammability. The material offers great mechanical strength to enable electrical installers to increase closer height tolerances than with porcelain insulators, making the busbar insulators more suitable for ground bar and perimeter grounding applications.
These are available in lengths of 16mm to 60mm as standard, with custom lengths and hole sizes available on request. The high voltage insulators are available in glass fibre reinforced polyamide or polyester in various heights, widths and thread sizes.
