Heat exchangers are ideal when the application set point is higher than the local primary water supply. Heat exchangers can be used with a wide variety of fluids, including deionised water, glycols and oils.

Applied Thermal Control offer a large range of self-contained systems with modulated primary supply, water to water heat exchanger, coolant storage tank and pump. Applied Thermal Control’s units overcome issues associated with insufficient pressure, fluctuating flow or very cold water, by providing a stable supply of coolant, regardless of the facilities water condition, ensuring your design process remains at optimum performance.

A wide range of non-ferrous stainless steel pumps with varying flows and pressures are available to suit any requirement. Pumps are of positive displacement or centrifugal construction with fan-cooled electric motors and are supplied in 304 & 316 stainless steel as standard. Floor standing variants are available on request.

0-15kW Rack Mounted Water to Water Heat Exchangers

Applied Thermal Control’s XR range of heat exchangers are designed to be used with primary house water circuits, providing cooling to applications where the facilities water might not be suitable. Applied Thermal Control’s range of water-to-water heat exchangers are commonly used to address water quality concerns or to maintain a more stable pressure, flow or temperature. Heats exchangers are also an effective way to protect sensitive equipment from contamination by bacteria or algae.

These systems are designed to be used for mounting a 19” rack system, provide easy installation and are ideal for space saving. Applied Thermal Control’s XF heat exchangers sit between your application and the primary flow, modulating the flow rate to achieve temperature stability without the need for additional refrigerated coolers.

Applied Thermal Control’s XF range offers a large collection of floor standing water to water heat exchangers from 15kW, 25kW, 50kW and 75kW.

The XF range is designed for use with primary house water circuits, providing cooling to applications for which the facilities water might not be suitable.

Applied Thermal Control’s XF water to water heat exchangers are available in 100kW, 200kW and 300kW are designed to be used with primary house water circuits and provide cooling to applications where facilities water might not be suitable.

Applied Thermal Control provide an extensive range of cooling systems providing outstanding quality and first-class reliability.

All units are self-contained, free standing systems and are complete with the heat exchanger pump, coolant reservoir and the necessary controls. Easy access panels allow safe and trouble-free maintenance.
