Telcon

A specialised product range featuring sensors, current transducers and voltage transducers used in automation, measurement and control system applications.

Telcon is a world leader in the field of soft magnetic cores and components, including open and closed loop hall effect current sensors. Their specialised product range includes sensors, current transducers and voltage transducers.

Telcon offer a wide selection of sensors and transducers. Telcon’s panel mounted units and horizontal units, ranging from 25A-500A and vertical mounting up to 100A. Telcon’s transducers are used in automation, measurement and control system applications.  Telcon’s sensors are used in a variety of applications requiring accurate, fast response signal proportional to the primary current being measured.

Originally known as the Gutta Percha Company, Telcon now manufactures high permeability and rectangular hysterisis loop nickel iron cores for critical transformer applications. The company now focuses on magnetic components which use high performance soft magnetic cores for applications ranging from current measurement and sensing, to inductors and chokes for EMC applications.
