Introducing GD Rectifiers’ extensive range of silicon carbide power solutions
Silicon carbide is a popular semiconductor material due to it’s wide scope of benefits, including offering customers very fast switching, very low on state and switching losses and increased power density.
GD Rectifiers offers a large range of SiC solutions from two of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers, IXYS and Semikron. SiC semiconductor devices are used in a wide range of applications including: solar inverters, energy storage systems, UPS, motor drives and power supplies.
SiC Power MOSFETs
GD Rectifiers offers a wide range of silicon carbide solutions from IXYS, including N channel enhancement SiC MOSFETs with 1200V and 1700V blocking voltage and silicon carbide schottky diode in MiniBLOC packages featuring 3Kv isolation to heatsink and a low impedance.
SiC Schottky Diodes
GD Rectifiers stocks a wide range of silicon carbide schottky diodes that offer superior switching performance compared to existing discrete SiC solutions. IXYS’ ISOPLUS packages also offer low thermal resistance whilst providing integrated isolation up to 3000V and very high thermal and power cycling capability.
Hybrid SiC Power Modules
GD Rectifiers partners with Semikron to offer hybrid silicon carbide modules from 50A to 600A in 1200V. Semikron’s hybrid modules provide 50% lower power losses and provide an easy implementation with no major driver or system design change required.
SiC Power Modules
GD Rectifiers stocks Semikron’s silicon carbide power modules from 10Kw to 350kw in 1200V and are available in seven different packages; MiniSKiiP, SEMITOP, SEMITOP E1/E2, SEMIPACK 2, SEMITRANS, SKiM93 and SEMiX 3P.
