The company’s recent expansion in 2014 to its new purpose-built factory has allowed the company to accommodate even more stock and has increased their manufacturing capabilities and footprint within the power electronics industry.

At GD Rectifiers you won’t be put through to a call centre in another country, you’ll be put through to our sales team in the UK and have direct access to our technical teams for ongoing support on your projects. Customers use GD Rectifiers as their knowledge hub, the company works as an extension to internal buying and procurement teams, providing dedicated account management, forecasting assistance and inventory support when required.

Specialist product range, specialist distributor

The specialist distributor typically orders stock months in advance of anticipated demand which provides customers with access to the broadest range of components at competitive prices. GD Rectifiers sales and technical teams do an excellent job at liaising with factories daily, staying on top of component lead times and notifying existing customers of price increases or delivery delays, keeping them updated on product availability every step of the way. We carry over 170,000 components in stock, all available on a next day delivery. GD Rectifiers understand that sometimes replacement parts can be required urgently as part of a maintenance repair or refurbishment job which is why they also offer same day delivery at an additional cost.

Despite all of the challenges the last 18 months has presented to the power electronics component industry, GD Rectifiers has added four new manufacturers to their product portfolio which include, Anysolar, Meth Kft, Meth Srl  and  Applied Thermal Control.

Our experienced sales team are able to source components outside of our official distribution channels through our authorised partners. GD Rectifiers makes the component sourcing process as easy and stress-free as possible for customers, offering to source alternative products within their portfolio or outside of their existing product range, the company welcomes the opportunity to quote these projects to open a conversation with customers on alternative parts that can be used often on shorter lead times and offering significant cost savings.

GD Rectifiers has been a distributor of power electronic components for over 55 years, they service and support engineers, buyers and procurement specialists within the industrial, aviation, automotive, rail, medical and electronics markets.

The company is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company that design and develop bespoke power semiconductor assemblies to control voltage, current and frequency for international markets. They also manufacture a broad range of extruded aluminium heatsinks and extrusions can be supplied as cut lengths or drilled and machined to customer specifications.
