Littelfuse SM8S Series TVS Diodes

Littelfuse’s SM8S series of bidirectional TVS diodes offer a clamping voltage lower than alternative technologies such as MOVs and GDTs. With 7000W peak pulse power rating, SM8S provides voltage transients protection for DC power buses that may be induced by lightning or inductive switching. The compact surface mount SMTO263 package is footprint compatible with DO-218AB while enabling high power density designs and aids compliance to surge requirements like IEC 61000-4-5 (level 4).
