Littelfuse announces IXYS product change notice relating to mounting screws used for it’s Y4 bipolar power modules
IXYS: A Littelfuse Technology has announced this month the discontinuation of providing mounting screws shipped along with its Y4 bipolar power modules.
Description of change
Littelfuse will stop deliveries of the mounting screws shipped along with its Y4 bipolar power modules. Customers will need to procure all required screws and washers on their own after the effective date of change.
Reason for change
Littelfuse is committed to responsibly conducting its manufacturing and distribution operations to protect employees, communities and the environment.
This supply stop will lower the weight of parcels shipped all around the world and reduce the impact on the environment. Many customers using automated assembly equipment do not use the screws delivered with the modules.
