As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of power electronics to the rail industry, GD Rectifiers are proud to share their RISQS accreditation with their customers.

What is RISQS?

RISQS is a community of suppliers and buyers in the rail industry, and is used by buyers as an approved supplier list when inviting companies to tender for a project. RISQS helps suppliers to network with GB rail industry by providing an open, fair and transparent way for them to be formally recognised as capable providers of products and services.

What does it do?

RISQS supports Great Britain’s leading railway providers such as: Network Rail, Transport for London, passenger and freight operating companies, rolling stock organisations, main infrastructure contractors and many other buying organisations in the management of supply chain risk.

The RISQS scheme embraces rail’s qualification arrangements previously known as Link-up. RISQ is industry-owned, sponsored by a board of representatives from across the rail industry. This reports into the RSSB Board and RSSB provides a range of services to support operational delivery of the scheme.

RISQ is the preferred route for suppliers to engage with their customers with a fair, open and transparent third party qualification. Most companies working within the rail industry will not buy parts or equipment from a Distributor unless they were RISQ accredited.
