The complete range on offer from GD Rectifiers
Thyristors are a broad classification of bipolar-conducting semiconductor devices having four (or sometimes more) alternating N-P-N-P layers. Thyristors include: silicon controlled rectifier (SCR), TRIAC, gate turn off switch (GTO), silicon controlled switch (SCS), AC diode (DIAC), unijunction transistor (UJT) and programmable unijunction transistor (PUT).
GD Rectifiers are one of the Europe’s leading distributors of power electronic components. They stock a broad range of semiconductors, including: Thyristors, Diodes, MOSFETs, IGBTs and Rectifiers from the world’s leading manufacturers. They also manufacture a lot of own branded products, including: Power Assemblies, Heatsinks, High Voltage Diodes and Selenium Rectifiers and Suppressors.
IXYS manufacture a large range of Thyristor Modules (Single Thyristors and Dual Thyristors) and Discrete Phase control Thyristors ranging from 16A to 700A with a voltage range of 100V to 2200V.
IXYS UK Westcode Thyristors
IXYS UK manufacture an extensive range of thyristors including: Distributed Gate Thyristors, Fast Turn-off Thyristors and Medium Voltage Thyristors. The Distributed Gate Thyristors are available with blocking voltages to 4.5kV and average current 4kA with tq from 10 to 300μs.
SEMIKRON manufacture a wide range of discrete thyristors available as stud screw fit types, convenient for applications which require simple mounting. SEMIKRON’s capsule thyristors are used for high power applications with current ratings up to 1200A with blocking reverse voltages up to 1800V.
